Oh the fun of a girls night out!!!! I LOVE spending time with my Chica's!!! How I miss seeing them everyday, Txt's just aren't the same. We have a monthly date set up and I already can't wait until the next one!!!! Maragrita's will either love or hate our little group by the end of the year!
On another note,, Robert is doing well. His heart meds seem to be doing well for him. Guess we will find out more after labor day. He was up and down all night last night. YUCK!!!!! So as soon as Ella gets her cartoon fix I am off to bed myself. Well I might do a little work first.
Ella, LOVES kindergarten, but is not so hot on doing homework. She draws it out instead of buckling down and getting it done. She went to the nurse today, so on the way to school in the morning we will have to have a "talk:" about going to the nurse's office. My little drama queen!!! :)

How I Coupon!
I have had several people ask me I go about Couponing. I admit, I learned most of it HATING all the time Mom made me clip, sort, ect... all those coupons as a kid.. But when I do the things that she taught me I can save quite a bit. BUT... with the way things are now a days, we are all tightening our belts. I have made it my goal to work at taking our monthly grocery bill down by about $100-$150 a month. So I have taken a leaf from a friends book, The Deal Detecting Diva. (or DDD) on Face Book. So let's start with her.
1) I read blogs!!!! Deal Detecting Diva, Coupon Divas, Passion for savings, Raining hot coupons, My Coupon Fever, Crazy Coupon Lady. These ladies are Awesome at finding deals. Recently I purchased 4 boxes of huggies wipes,, you know the $11 dollar ones. I purchase them for $5.99 each & no shipping!
2) Ad match ups!!! Several Ladies match up the coupon inserts with the weekly ads. I read the DDD for this, but I know several do these. I look at this so I know what is on sale that I should have a coupon for. Unless I already used it of course. :)
3) Meal plan with the ads in hand... I try to make my meal plan for the week based off of the ads. Not always easy or able to be done. But I try to.. Snacks and such only if I have a coupon or it's on sale preferably both.
4) My Coupon Box (Actually a Binder). Mine is divided up by categories. I have a sorting mat that is divided up the same way that I got from the couponizer. Mark helps me sort so this is the way for us. I use the 4 pocket postcard protectors. I like them better than the baseball card ones. I just have more pages for some item like personal care, and I divide these up into categories to, ie... canned goods has a pocket for soups and one for veggies ect....

5)Plan the trip to the store. Whatever store I go to I make a list try to stick to it, and pull the coupons I need in to a page in the front all ready to go at checkout. I make notes on my list as to quantity ect.... If the store doesnt' have an item then I pull that coupon and put in a separate pocket to refile.

Really should do this More
WOW!!! I looked at the date on my last post! It was over a year ago. So much has gone on since then. Mark and I looked at our finances and decided to have one more go at a second child. It worked and we had a baby, Robert Joseph in April. It was not a super enjoyable pregnancy. He like to sit so low that my back was out half the time and my legs had little to no circulation the other half. Thus causing edema, so bad that even my flip flops didn't fit! He came two days early. Grandma and I were looking forward to sharing our birthday with him since that was my due date and the day the c-section was scheduled for. Oh well. Just glad he is here.
On day 2, just like before, he was diagnosed with a VSD. Just my luck.. 2 heart kiddos. Had to just take a deep breath and say Oh well, it's only a VSD and could be worse.
Fundraising for Heartwalk was really hard this year. Didn't come close to my goal. Going to have to start earlier this coming year. One conversation we as a CHD group was a place to put links to things we need to know so that will be coming here soon!

Stealing your nose! & I can't sleep
What do those two things have in common? Nothing unless you just can't sleep!
It's been a month since I wrote anything and I really need to start making this a bit more of a priority. Things have been crazy around here and with Bob's knee surgery looming ever closer I really need to tackle the house, Quite literally! Ella's room is on Tuesdays agenda for this week!
Last week we went to and Easter egg hunt at a Church close by the house. It was a lot of fun. We did the hunt with some close friends of ours.
Ella Like to run around and pick up a few here and a few there instead of getting all the ones at here feet. It is cute to watch but hard to get pictures of.

And here is where steal your nose comes in. "I've got your nose" has always been one of Ella's favorite games and still is. She will come up to you and gently "take" your nose and put it on. I caught daddy and her playing a game of it that day! They were both having such fun!
Easter was great! It was beautiful here in Kansas and we went to Church, the Easter bunny came, went to the farm and helped clean the yard, and then went to Bob's house and spent some time with him and Norma.
Well I seem to be getting a little sleepy so I am going to try getting some sleep another go round.
